By choosing an open style gate, you will benefit from maximum light and visibility. This allows you to enjoy the scenery outside of your property, or see guests as they approach. This style offers less privacy than our boarded style gates, but does provide excellent security – either to keep pets and children inside, or unwelcome visitors out!

All of our gates can be made with a matching style pedestrian gate when you have a separate pathway, or need to allow for people on foot getting to your front door.
Our wooden gates are available in Iroko hardwood, which can be oiled or stained. You can choose clear oil to bring out the natural wood colour and enhance the grain, or colours similar to those of natural wood. Oils also improve the durability of wood and as they’re absorbed and are nourishing too. Maintenance, once oiled, can be as simple as lightly sanding any damage and applying a fresh coat.
